Mr. Pierre Beaucage is president and chief executive officer of GOEX. For 30 years, Mr. Beaucage held various positions as an executive and director in different SMEs and NPOs from various sectors of the economy. Mr. Beaucage has investment partnerships in SMEs in more traditional sectors such as health, as well as in leading-edge areas such as responsible investment (www.gir-canada.com). Since 2003, he is a Director on the of PME MTL Centre-Ville’s Board (www.pmemtl.com), also known as the Société de développement économique Ville-Marie. PME MTL is an organization dedicated to starting up and developing SMEs and NPOs. Thanks to its strong experience in managing companies and as an investor, Mr. Beaucage is able to offer a sharp and unique expertise in governance and business strategy for SMEs and NPOs. Mr. Beaucage holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) with a specialization in finance, accounting, and real estate. He is a member of the order of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA).

Mr. Richard Martin is an expert in leadership, strategy, and management. He served for over 25 years as an officer and manager in the Canadian Army, during which he commanded peacekeeping forces in Bosnia and participated in strategic planning and liaison on numerous international missions. Richard brings to bear unique and specialized expertise in optimizing human talent, strategic planning, and organizational transformation for small businesses and non-profit organizations.Richard has written Brilliant Manoeuvres: How to Use Military Wisdom to Win Business Battles. He is a frequent public speaker and teaches and writes on a wide variety of topics, ranging from competitive strategy, planning, and risk management to leadership, organizational transformation, and team building. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor of Administration from the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and is a lecturer in project management and strategic management at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), where he completed a Master’s in Project Management.Mr. Martin has published articles and has been cited in Maclean’s, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, CBC.ca, and many other news outlets both in Canada and abroad. He has also been a guest on the business television network Canal Argent. Richard is currently working on his second book, which will address strategic, operational and tactical readiness for change in businesses and organizations of all types.
